Gonzalo Martini[edit]

Gonzalo Martini Director, Scriptwriter, Producer and Actor. Gonzalo Martini was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of 19, he moved to Spain, where he began his studies as a filmmaker at the Camilo José Cela University. He completed a degree in Film and Audiovisual Fiction with a Mention in Cinematography, to later specialize by completing a Master's in 3D Animation Film and VFX at the CEU San Pablo University. After graduating, he worked in various advertisements for renowned international brands and in video clips for musical artists. Later he created the short films The Ghost (2020) and Sorrow (2020), during the 2020 pandemic and quarantine. Muerto (2021) and Yokai (2022) in co-production with Canon España S.A. are his most recent works. He was selected with his films in more than 100 festivals of international prestige He is an Academic, member of DAMA (Copyright Association), PNR (New Filmmakers Platform - Member of the board), Acción (Spanish Film Director Association). And the Spanish Film Academy. In 2022 he was awarded with his short film script "Good Night" in the first edition of the LabPnr. In Madrid he founded his audiovisual production company called "Freak Project" where he continues to create worlds and stories, being the first filmmaker to produce the first "Virtual Production" Videoclip in Unreal Engine for cinema in Europe.[1]
