The Good Shed Bus Station also known as Goods Shed Bus Stand (Sinhala: ගුඩ් ෂෙඩ් බස් නැවතුම) is the main bus station in Kandy, Sri Lanka.[1] The bus station is located opposite the Kandy railway station. It is one of three bus stands in the city centre, the others being the Clock Tower Bus Stand and Torrington Bus Stand.

The Good Shed station services government (Sri Lanka Transport Board) buses and private transit company buses, with all inter-provincial bus services and the majority of the intra-provincial bus services commencing and terminating at the Good Shed station, with the exception of air-conditioned services to Colombo, which operate from the Clock Tower Bus Stand.

Kandy Multimodal Transit Terminal[edit]

On 14 August 2018, a proposal has been made by Champika Ranawaka, the Cabinet Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Cabinet of Ministers in Sri Lanka has been approved to create the Kandy Multimodal Transit Terminal (KMTT). The KMTT would be a facility that would eliminate the current bus terminals in Kandy, namely Good Shed Bus Stand, Clock Tower Bus Stand and Torrington Bus Stand.[12][13]
