Goro's

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

goro's is a Japanese Indian jewelry brand whose directly-managed store is located in Tokyo.

Overview[edit]

goro's was founded in 1956 by Goro Takahashi and his products have been available only at one directly-managed store, which was moved from Komagome to Aoyama and then to Harajuku.

Goro Takahashi, the founder of the company, passed away in 2013, and his successors have continued to protect his business and legacy. goro's has never sold its products online, by mail-order, through a distributor, or at wholesale. goro's attracts many people and gains enthusiastic fans and communities with its multifaceted fascination: its silver accessories, jewelries, and perfection as an art object; the unique worldview, story, and spirit established by the late Goro Takahashi, the first Indian in Japan, in his relationship with the South Dakota-based Lakota tribe; and his own dreams, humanity, and charisma.

In front of the Harajuku store, there is always a line of 300 to 500 people, which became a famous view. It is also well known that goro's accessories are loved and worn in public by world-famous artists, actors, athletes, designers, and DJs.
