Gosha Suwa Shrine is a Beppyo shrine located in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture.[1]. It comes from a merger of Sura Shrine and Gosha Shrine[2]. Suwa Shrine is the older of the two.[2] It was founded in 1614[3]
It used to be two shrines.[2], but after being bombed in World War II[citation needed] both shrines were heavily damaged and they were merged in 1960[2]
It is notable for its Shichi-Go-San celebrations.[4]
