Govind Singh Saun (born March 25, 1956 in Badari, Pithoragarh, India) is the ex member secretary of Indian Council of Social Science Research.[1]. He is author of the book Self-Disclosure, Adjustment, and Achievement ; A Comparison [2]. He is currently serving ICSSR as Director Research [3]. He formed an enquiry committee panel and submitted a report to ICSSR over faulty hiring of faculty at GIDS( Giri Institute of Development Studies)[4]. He is also serving as governing board of Centre for Social Studies[5] and Centre for Multi-disciplinary Development Research [6]. ICSSR organised symposium on inequalities, growth and cities/urbanisation under his tenure [7]
