Grace Junot (born June 8, 1974) is a Thai-American actress. She is best known for portraying Ellen on The CW series Dynasty, and Chase Meridian in the series Gotham Knights.[1]
Early life[edit]
Junot was born on June 8, 1974, in Bangkok, Thailand. Her family later moved to the United States when her father's military service overseas ended.
Career[edit]
Junot has appeared in national ad campaigns for Crate & Barrel, Sprint, Dunkin' Donuts, Bridgestone, and Checkers and Rally's. She has had a series of guest and recurring roles in film and television, including Will Trent, The Crossover, Monarch, and Sextuplets.
She first appeared in season four of Dynasty, and returned as a recurring character in season 5. In 2023, she appeared in the CW series Gotham Knights as Dr. Chase Meridian, a criminal psychiatrist in Gotham City. The character was originally created for the 1995 Joel Schumacher film, Batman Forever, by writers Janet and Lee Batchler, with Nicole Kidman in the role. The character subsequently began appearing in DC comics in 2012.[2][3]

Personal life[edit]
Junot's father is a retired Army sergeant and decorated Green Beret, while her mother is a businesswoman. She majored in the Humanities at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, graduating with honors. She is of Chinese and French descent. Junot is married and has a daughter who was born in 2015.
