Graham John Bradley (born 8 September 1960) in Wetherby West Yorkshire is a retired National Hunt Jockey. He rode 731 winners worlwide from 4,659 rides @ 6.37% and retired on 13 November 1999 after riding his final winner on Ontheboil in a novice chase at Haydock. He is now the MD of Berkshire Bloodstock Ltd. His father Norman Bradley who passed away on February 3rd 2004 aged 72 was a dual purpose racehorse trainer.

Personal life[edit]

He married his long term partner Amanda Jane Wilson on July 9th 2000 and they have had a daughter Georgia May Bradley (born 15 April 2002. His autobiography 'The Wayward Lad' which was co written by racing journalist Steve Taylor was published after his retirement, in 2000. The forward was written by 20 times Champion Jockey A P McCoy who is a God Father to Georgia May Bradley.

Charity work[edit]

In November 1999 he single handedley organised a North versus South charity football match at York racecourse to raise funds for two of his young colleagues Sam Berry (son of Jack Berry) and Peter Dun (brother of Geordie Dun) who both suffered serious career ending head injuries that year. Soccer Legends Sir Bobby Charlton, Bobby Collins, Franny Lee, Peter Lorimer and Mike Summerbee all turned up to play and give their support.

Berkshire Bloodstock Ltd[edit]

In December 1999 he set up 'Berkshire Bloodstock Ltd' and started buying and selling horses.The best horses that he bought were 'Vicious Circle' that won Europes richest handicap, The Ebor Handicap at York 1999, 'Well Chief' owned by Champion owner David Johnson who was the highest rated racehorse that Martin Pipe trained and 'Seebald' owned by football legends Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler.
