Graham Hugh Whitehouse (born 24 November 1939) is a British radiologist and former Emeritus Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Liverpool. He is known for his clinical, academic, and educational work in breast imaging, gynaecological radiology, orthopaedic trauma radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and computed tomography (CT). Whitehouse has also served extensively as a medico-legal expert witness.
Early life and education
Whitehouse was born on 24 November 1939 in the United Kingdom.[1] He attended Harrow County School for Boys and studied medicine at King's College London and Westminster Medical School. He holds multiple qualifications, including DSc, MPhil, MB BS, FRCP, FRCR, FBIR, and AKC.[2]
Career
Whitehouse began as a Lecturer in the Department of Radiodiagnosis at the University of Liverpool. He later served as Honorary Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital NHS Trust and Liverpool Women’s Hospital, retiring as Consultant Radiologist before being named Emeritus Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Liverpool.[3]
His subspecialty interests include breast radiology, orthopaedic trauma radiology, gynaecological radiology, MRI, and CT.[4]
Whitehouse has considerable experience as an expert witness in medico-legal cases, acting on behalf of both claimants and defendants.

Whitehouse served as a Director of North West Cancer Research (incorporating Clatterbridge Cancer Research) in 1993.[1]
He was involved in organizing the Liverpool Diagnostic Radiology Course, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2010.[18]
Personal life
Whitehouse has two children and six grandchildren. Outside medicine, he is skilled in art, and he is a long-time supporter of Arsenal FC and a fan of cricket, playing wicketkeeper in his school days.
