Gram Vikas Sewa Sansthan(GVSS) is a grassroots level Indian non-profit organization (NGO). The organization is working in different districts of eastern Uttarpradesh for more than 4 decades. The organization is certified by Guide Star India [1]


The organization was established in 1978 and got registered on 21st October. [2] The organization started its journey by organizing village level meeting with the representation of every section of society in it. It had separated wings such as youths, women and farmers etc to address their appropriate needs. After the formation phase, the organization carried out the mass program on awareness generation, health and nutrition, vocational training and adult education with support from local communities and some donor agencies and it is continued for the last four decades with the vision of creating more tolerant healthy, hygienic, educated, empowered, fearless just and connected society.[3]
