The Grand Canyon Synod is one of the 65 synods, or dioceses, of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). It comprises the state of Arizona, southern Nevada, and one congregation in St. George, Utah. The synod was made up of 100 congregations as of August 2016.[2]
