Granule Purifier

Meaning: Equipment used for removing dust, streamer, flocculent and other pollutants (total contamination contents, TCC for short) from natural and synthetic granule.

TCC can cause problems in many industries. The TCC in plastic granules will bring many problems to the granule processing industry. High TCC content will reduce the quality of granular material and affect the price, TCC will absorb water, shorten the service life of granular material. The purifier is mainly designed for eliminating the dust and streamer in the granule material, through air separation, P/N wave, S/N wave, static removal etc. to achieve the separation of TCC from granule.

Granule Purification System: The purification system consists of granule purifier, blower, feeding valve, level controller, filter, cyclone, dust collector and so on.

Working Principle:

The granule purifier adopts multiple-level cleaning technology, different layers with different mechanisms, and achieves the cleaning effect through various different overlying cleaning measures.

When the purifier is in operation, the granule material enters from the inlet with the gravity, and extends the retention and conveying time of the material through the interference of the acceleration plate and momentum turnover device, so as to achieve the best effect of air separation.

A variety of technical measures such as electrostatic removal device, jet flow, P/N wave, S/N wave and magnetic force etc. are set in the granule purifier to eliminate the attraction between dust and granules, so as to create gaps in the space, so that the cohesive dust becomes dispersed so as to facilitate the separation of granules. Moreover, a multistage streamer removal component is set on the granule passing route. The streamer and dust can be removed comprehensively and continuously.

Dust and other pollutants leave the purifier from the outlet of the impurity flow with the clean air stream, enter the cyclone or drum filter, and then collected by the dust collector. Filtered air is recycled or discharged to atmosphere directly.

After cleaning, the granules are temporarily stored in the dynamic seal controller (or use rotary valve etc.) under the purifier to ensure that the air pressure will not be unstable during the cleaning process. After reaching the safe conditions, the granules will enter the packaging machine etc.

Equipment Classification

A. Classification of system types

The circulating medium of the open-loop cleaning system is air, which is suitable for alternately treating different kinds of materials or replacing the production line, and can avoid the circulation pollution of the same materials.

The circulating medium of closed-loop granule cleaning system is circulating gas, which is suitable for ordinary working conditions or inert gas working conditions, so as to avoid external influence on materials.

Fixed granule cleaning system

Fixed installation under the silo is the most common type of cleaning system.

Mobile granule cleaning system

Usually a closed loop system is used, with the entire system mounted on the drive chassis and can be switched between several adjacent silos.

C. Classification according to processing capacity

There are more than ten types and classifications from the micro cleaning system suitable for laboratory use with capacity of 30 kg to the large cleaning system with a capacity of 100 tons.

D, Classification as per the cleaning accuracy

Standard type: common type, there are different types of size, cleaning accuracy ≤30ppm

Enhanced type: The use of customized parts, cleaning precision can be ≤20ppm

Super type: the maximum precision of clean granules is ≤ 5 ppm
