Sri Lanka was once ruled by Hela Sinhalese. There were four clans which are yakka, deva, raksha and Naga. The Great ruler of Hela Sinhala was Ravana the Great. He was wise, powerful and polite emperor. The people of Sri Lanka loed him. Ravana was ruled Sri Lanka from 2554 to 2517 BC. The World has disunderstood Sinhalese king Ravana because India Ramayana has written its history wrong.

Ravana[edit]

Ravana's wife Mandodari got twins but the wise man said that if baby is born after midnight ( 0.00) that baby will bring bad luck to Sinhalese kingdom. Before midnight 1st baby was born during loud thunderstorms and the baby was boy. His name was Meghanada. Some know him as Indrajit because Meghanada killed god of thunder Indra in battle of heaven. Second child was born after midnight and baby was girl. Her name was Sita. Ravana had to take hard choice and he put Sita in boat. Boat went to ocean and came to India (Bharata Khanda). Sita was found by normal Indian farmer and he took baby immediately to the kingdom after seeing jewelries with baby.
