The Greek Label[edit]
The Greek Label is an up-and-coming Fashion brand based in Athens, Greece. The brand focuses on Greek-themed designs to connect to the youth of Greece. The designs incorporate Greek mythology and symbolism in a streetwear style. The Greek Label was created on November 14th, 2020 during lockdown by 17-year-old entrepreneur Themelina Glyka. A major focus of the brand is sustainability and human rights when it comes to the production and distribution of goods.
Early Success[edit]
As the first anniversary is approaching on November 14th, 2021, The Greek Label has had a lot of success. Within its first year, there have been three collections: the Pegasus Collection, Athenian collection, and a limited edition Thalassa Kai Ilios (translated to Sea and Sun) summer collection.
Among her success is her appearance on the Headquarters podcast hosted by Sophie Scheliga. There Glyka described her early success and inspiration behind her brand.
The Owner[edit]
Themelina Glyka is a 17-year-old Entrepreneur who attends school in Athens, Greece. Standing at 4 foot 11 inches she is known for her passion and dedication to her craft. As her high school career comes to an end, she plans to continue working on "The Greek Label" brand as she goes to university.[1]
