The Green peafowl (Pavo muticus spicifer) is an endangered bird that is native to Southeast Asia.[1] It is the National bird, in Indian culture and religion, peacocks are symbols of beauty, grace, pride, and mysticism. They are associated with many Hindu gods and goddesses, Respect national wildlife. Peacocks are also believed to predict rain when they fan their tail feathers out.
