Greenwich Strategy, LLC is a small management strategy consulting firm that works for private equity investment funds and operating companies.[1] The firm is based in based in Providence, RI.
Greenwich Strategy was founded in March 1997 by former Bain & Co. consultant Chris Fay. The firm was originally called Greenwich Strategy Consulting, LLC, and was first located in Greenwich, CT. Fay is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard Business School.[2]
Greenwich Strategy is a partnership. Beyond president and partner Chris Fay, the only other partner is Beth Vito, who is married to Chris. Beth was also formerly at Bain & Co. She is a graduate of Rice University and Stanford Business School.[2]
Over its entire history the firm’s total staff size has never exceeded 10 full-time employees. Greenwich Strategy believes its small size, which allows for senior partner involvement in client work, is a key reason for its extremely loyal client base.
Greenwich Strategy is intent on providing a rich developmental experience for young professionals, who are generally hired as Analysts, after one to three years of work experience after college. Most Analysts aspire to an MBA program at a top-ranked business school. Past Greenwich Strategy Analysts have been admitted to the following business schools (listed alphabetically): Chicago (Booth), Columbia, Dartmouth (Tuck), Harvard, Northwestern (Kellogg), Stanford, University of Michigan (Ross), University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), and Yale.[3]
