Greeny Phatom is an MS Paint web series and internet phenomenon created by Robert Stainton. The show is about Little Guy and his friends adventures in the city of 123 Greeny Phatom. A notable thing about the show is the use text to speech for the characters voices.
Premise[edit]
Little Guy lives in a city called "123 Greeny Phatom" with his best friends Dr. Beanson and Green Bob, Little Guy and the other residents at 123 Greeny Phatom likes logos and Bananas in Pyjamas and love talking about them a lot
History[edit]
The original traces of the series are fairly unknown but the first recorded trace of the series was on August 10 2008 when videos “To Normal Or Not To Normal” and “Imagine That” came out. The videos were made in a different style than the Greeny Phatom we know today. The old uploads were deleted but reuploaded.
Robert made a new account called greenyphatom2009 where he uploaded the older episodes of Greeny Phatom including “Reading Windows Errors“.After 2013 he announced he was moving to a new account called 2009greenyphatom for new episodes.
Then, Robert made a movie called Greeny Phatom : The Movie which got a bad reception for it’s intolerable art style and stupid plot. Despite negative reception the movie currently has a sequel in development and is one of the most viewed Greeny Phatom videos on the internet.
Reception and cult following[edit]
No official critical consensus but this show was panned due it’s poorly drawn art style to the point you can’t even tell what the drawings are and unlikable characters. The show got 5.2 out of 10 on IMDb
Despite the shows bad reception it got a cult following of the internet that would make their own spin-offs called Greenytoons. Examples of Greenytoons are Geos World,Dr. Beanson, Gree City and many others. The show has been parodied by the YouTuber SilvaGunner and Ryan Siberman
