Greg Lambrecht is the chairman, founder, and CEO of SinglePoint Inc. (OTCQB: SING), a publicly-traded holding company that focuses on the acquisition of undervalued companies. SinglePoint specializes in providing management, capital, and technological solutions to various companies.
Greg Lambrecht founded PCI (Premium Cigars International) which put cigars into over 30,000 convenience store brands throughout the United States and Canada. Lambrecht took PCI public on the NASDAQ in 1997.
Early Life and education
Greg was born in Seattle, Washington on April 28th, 1962. Lambrecht is the second youngest of 11 children born to Tillie and William Lambrecht. The Lambrechts are of Volga German descent moving to America in the early 20th century. His father Bill worked as a butcher after moving from Billings, Montana and his Mother Tillie operated a catering company in the Seattle area. Greg was raised in the Rainier Beach neighborhood of Seattle living there until moving to Lake Forest Park in 1975 and attending Shorecrest high School. Greg excelled at basketball in his time at Shorecrest playing varsity from his sophomore season on. After graduating High School he attended Edmonds Community College to study and play basketball before transferring to Western Washington University in 1982 to play basketball. Greg started for the team and in his senior season led the conference in assists. Lambrecht obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in speech communication and rhetoric at Western Washington University between 1982 and 1984. Greg was the assistant head coach at Shoreline Community College.
Career
Rosehearts
After graduating College in 1984 Greg Lambrecht started Rosehearts a wholesale flower company based out of Seattle, Washington. The company sold single wrap roses throughout the Northwestern United States and Canada in retail locations. Roses were brought in from around the world including Columbia, Israel and Mexico. After 15 years the business was in 15 states and most of Canada.
PCI
Premium Cigars International was a distributor and marketer of Cigars and Humidors. Greg Lambrecht founded the company in 1997 after moving to Phoenix, Arizona. PCI put cigars and humidors into major Convenience store chains throughout the United States and Canada. The cigars were in 30,000 accounts in all States and most of the provinces in Canada. PCI was able to put Cuban made cigars into the Canadian market.
Singlepoint
In 2004, Lambrecht founded Lifestyle Wireless. In 2011, Lifestyle Wireless became a public holding company and was renamed SinglePoint. Lambrecht’s company specialized in mobile payment solutions and text messaging. In 2014, he went into the cannabis business.
On August 8, 2019, Lambrecht’s SinglePoint Inc. announced that it had signed a master distribution agreement with Pure Products LLC – a ‘pure hemp’ cigarette-producing company.
On February 22, 2019, Lambrecht’s company completed the Asset Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of Direct Solar, a leading solar power production company in the United States. Direct Solar is SinglePoint’s largest acquisition.
Coravin
Launched in 2013, Lambrecht founded and invented Coravin, a manufacturer of products for the wine industry.[1]
Personal Life
Greg has lived in Phoenix, Arizona since moving there in 1996. He has 3 kids, one son and two daughters. As well Greg also has 4 grandchildren three boys and one girl.
