Greg S. Reid
Greg S. Reid is an American motivational speaker, best-selling author and producer.[1] Reid has been described as one of the "10 Best Entrepreneurial Speakers for Taking Your Event to the Next Level" [2]
Books
In 2009, Reid was selected by the Napoleon Hill Foundation to write a series of modern day sequels to Hill's bestselling Think and Grow Rich.[3][4] The Foundation gave him previously unreleased writings and recordings by Hill for use in his books.[5][not in citation given] Reid has co-authored books with a number of motivational speakers including Sharon Lechter[4] and Bob Proctor[6]. Secret Knock Event
Twice a year Reid holds the event Secret Knock[14] that brings together leaders from sports, business, politics, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.[15] Reid describes Secret Knock as “an event and professional collaboration community focused on partnership, networking, and business development.”[11] Notable past speakers have included former Mexican President Vincente Fox[15], motivational speaker Les Brown[15], Edward Snowden[16], the founders of Constant Contact[15], and the founder of Ugg boots. [17]
Producer
Through his Secret Knock event, Reid became friends with Frank Shankwitz, founder of Make-A-Wish Foundation.[1] After Shankwitz stated that his own wish would be that his story be told, Reid had him sign over the rights to his story.[18][19] This became the movie Wish Man released in 2019 and on which Reid served as a Producer.[20]
Personal Life
In 2018 Reid was granted an Honorary PhD by Ajeenkya DY Patil University. [21] In 2019 Reid was awarded a Star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars.[22]
