Gregor Jackson
Gregor Mark Jackson (born 25 August 1963) is a British designer, founding partner, and executive creative director at London-based brand and retail interior agency, gpstudio.[1]
Early life and career
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, to an architect and painter father, Jackson studied interior design at Edinburgh Napier University before moving to London to pursue a career at The Design Solution. Jackson subsequently joined the design consultancy David Davies Associates where he worked as a senior designer.
In 1991, Jackson co-founded the design consultancy Four IV, where he worked for over a decade, before stepping away to launch his own design practice, gpstudio.[2]
Work
Since 2004, the consultancy has completed over 1,859 projects for over 100 clients in 27 countries. Notable clients and projects include Boodles, Royal Horticultural Society, Shinsegae, John Lewis & Partners, St James Quarter, Eden Project, Gymshark, Lotte, The Whisky Shop, Hershesons, and Harrods.[3]
In subsequent years, the consultancy has welcomed directors Gemma Ratcliffe and Alex Wateridge.
Honours
In 2023, gpstudio was awarded The King's Awards for Enterprise: International Trade for 'Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over three years.'[4]
