Gregory S Barkham Jr, is a self taught, pianist and composer, who writes and produces his own music, he is a independent musician that is yet to be signed or belong to a record, or sound making label. Gregory Barkham Jr was born, April 14, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, However, a majority of his life and youth was spent growing up in Taylorsville, Kentucky, a small town in Spencer County, Kentucky, of only about 19,000 people. Gregory, grew up playing the piano, after teaching himself out of pure curiosity at around the age of 7, he became very intrigued with the instrument, and would take his own personal life and the way he plays, as a way to relieve the tensions that was ongoing in his life.

Born in the late afternoon on April 14th, 1998. Gregory Barkham Jr, was born in Louisville, Kentucky. However, a majority of his life and youth was spent growing up in Taylorsville, Kentucky, a small town in Spencer County, Kentucky. He attended Spencer County High school, the only high school, and schooling system in Taylorsville. Gregory graduated in the year 2017, and is currently in the process of attending college. Gregory had a rough and vivid childhood growing up, he says a majority of his music is inspired by the influence of experiencing mental health in people hes met and known in his life, he is a supporter of Mental Health Awareness and is also a supporter of JDRF. He says his music is to bring peace, and help calm people. He researched and studied music therapy his senior year of highschool as a school project and made it his destiny to make music to bring calmness and joy to people in need.
Music Career [1][edit]
Gregory first started his official independent music career under the independent music producer Distrokid, his first song 'Rising Sea' was released on October 13th, 2019, it is a all piano and orchestra song under the genre of new age. Gregory would start teaching himself how to play piano at the age of 7 years old. after taking a interest in the electric keyboard in his sisters room. He would first learn the simple things, such as the key names, the keys, and the chords. And as the years went on, Gregory would teach more and more to himself. Gregory would play for multiple churches growing up, including his own church he raised up on, Grace Chapel, Gregory would later go onto take AP music theory in high school, and be in jazz band as the jazz pianist for one year while attending spencer county highschool. And become a bass singer for the highschools choir.
