Gregory Doby Jr. (born August 23, 1972), professionally known as G!Nx (/ˈjɪŋks/) or G-banga, is an American record producer, composer, and songwriter.[1]

Biography

Doby was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but spent his formative years in Madison. In 1994, he graduated from Madison Media Institute with certifications in the music business and recording technology.[1]

In 1996, Doby moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he worked as an intern for LaFace Records. He returned to his hometown, and from 1997 to 2005, Doby spent building Regime Records. Regime Records released several albums, including the popular “Land in Between Soundtrack I and II” compilations, featuring underground hits like “Guard Your Life” by Club Mecca, “Diamond Valentine” by Big Three, and “Who Dat MC” by Rob Dz.[citation needed]
