Grungecake (stylized as GRUNGECAKE), is a global music discovery channel, stylized as “Global music discovery blog”, creative agency and a record label based in New York City, it’s focus is on music discovery, music news, reviews, interviews, creativity and popular culture. It was launched in 2007 by global music mogul, editor, award winning publicist, Grammy U mentor and now The Recording Academy board member Richardine Bartee. She launched the site to support indie artists and the arts, it started as a print publication in 2007. Grungecake’s publications are available on Apple news and google news. As of 2020 it was recognized as the number 3 site to find new Hip-Hop tracks on Hypebot.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
