Guidehouse is a Washington, D.C.-based consulting firm and a portfolio company of Veritas Capital.
History[edit]
In February 2018, Veritas Capital acquired PricewaterhouseCoopers' government consulting unit, which had approximately 1,500 employees. Scott McIntyre, the managing partner of the unit, became the CEO of the new organization. In July 2018, the business was officially rebranded as Guidehouse. Initially, the firm focused on government agencies, with emphasis on logistics, strategy, and risk management.
In August 2019, Guidehouse announced it would be acquiring Navigant Consulting for US$1.1 billion. The acquisition aimed to expand Guidehouse into the private-sector space with Navigant's clients in energy, financial services, and other industries. The acquisition completed in October 2019.
Scope[edit]
Guidehouse has an annual revenue of $1.3 billion and serves both public- and private-sector clients. As of 2019, its clients included the U.S. Departments of State, Defense, and Health and Human Services, as well as the Food and Drug Administration and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The company maintains a presence in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Dayton, London, Thiruvananthapuram, McLean, and other locations.
