The Gulshan Cental Mosque, also called Gulshan Azad Mosque (Bengali: গুলশান কেন্দ্রীয় মসজিদ), is a Mosque in Gulshan, a neighbourhood in Dhaka.[1] It was established on 18 April, 1976 occupying 6 acres of land. It was designed by architect Mesbah-ul-Kabir. The mosque has the capacity to accommodate over 10,000 devotees at a time.[2][3][4] Maulana Shamsul Haque was the khatib of the mosque until 2019.[5]

The mosque is not only a prayer site, but a center for Islamic studies as well. It has a madrasa and a school named International Islamic Academy. In addition, the mosque offers short courses round the year for all free of cost. Also, there is a library within the mosque complex.
