Gundappa Vakil is an Indian politician who served as Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Aurad Assembly Constituency from 1999[3] to 2004. While cleaning his pistol, he injured himself.[4] He was also a candidate from Bidar assembly constituency in the 2016 Karnataka by-elections.[5] In 2002, the Bharatiya Janata Party expelled him from the party due to cross-voting.[6]
