Dr. Günet Eroğlu is a university professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. She is the founder and developer of AutoTrainBrain, the most important solution for rehabilitating dyslexic children. She develops Android programs and artificial intelligence algorithms for learning difficulties. She is currently a Doctoral Professor at Bahçeşehir University.

Education[edit]

Günet Eroğlu completed her academic education with great success. She graduated from Kayseri High School in 1983 with first place. After high school, she pursued her undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics. She completed her undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University in 1988.

After her undergraduate studies, she began her master's degree, which she completed successfully in Computer Science at Oxford University in 1990.

After completing her master's degree, she worked at various software and financial institutions in Turkey at various levels. She completed her ITU Exec MBA Master's program in order to become a better manager in 2000.

At the age of 43, she retired early from the bank where she worked and later started her doctoral education. She completed her doctoral education in Computer Science at Sabancı University in 2020, demonstrating a successful educational background.

Alongside her educational life, Dr. Günet Eroğlu has also had a successful career in the business world, which has been running in parallel. As of 2007, she has performed very important duties in senior positions. The positions and companies she actively served during her career are as follows:

2000-2011 Oyakbank/ ING Bank A.Ş. Turkey[edit]

Dr. Günet Eroğlu, who worked at ING Bank, Turkey's seventh-largest private bank with 359 branches and a comprehensive customer potential, has made significant contributions, especially in CRM and data warehousing. When she first started working, the bank's management expected her to develop CRM activities and achieve a high level of success. In the initial working periods, she successfully fulfilled these expectations and demonstrated her successful work to the top management in order to carry out CRM and data warehouse activities more efficiently and effectively. After this successful process, she took on different responsibilities in various fields in order to supervise the quality of technical work and discover different projects that would add value to the bank. She managed this process with different projects by being directly responsible for all the results of the CRM application, including CRM project planning, implementation, and presentation of the main plan. She created a development cycle for the software applications actively used by the bank, and this development resulted in a 20% improvement in the software applications. In the midst of this intensive and research-intensive work life, she has a book published in 2010 by Cinius Publishing House, titled "My Mother's Kitchen".

2015 - Present, HMS Health Mobile Software Inc.[edit]

As of June 2015, Dr. Günet Eroğlu began working for her own brand as a founding partner and CEO, utilizing the knowledge and training she had received. During this period, she successfully created a special area for developing the reading skills of dyslexic individuals through a mobile phone application featuring Neurofeedback and multisensory learning. The mobile applications developed under her leadership as CEO have become a significant step toward the development of dyslexic children.

This project, named "AutoTrainBrain," was selected as one of the top 15 projects out of 850 evaluated for the "Future Bosses" competition in 2015. Following the implementation of this project, several professional interviews and informative meetings were held. Promotion and informational sessions on the AutoTrainBrain project were conducted at numerous events held by prestigious institutions such as Yeditepe University, Işık University, and Acıbadem University.

AutoTrainBrain was selected as the 15th best project out of 850 at Geleceğin Patronları 2015. The project is funded by Sabancı University, INOVENT A.Ş., TUBITAK 1512, DCP, and KOSGEB. It was also a finalist for the Garanti Bankası Social Entrepreneur award in 2019, and Dr. Günet Eroğlu was interviewed by Forbes in December 2018. Other media coverage includes an interview on the Özge Vardarlı TV program in 2018, appearances on NTV Ana haber and Star TV Ana Haber in 2019, a panel at Erciyes University on Entrepreneurial Women in 2019, an interview on Ekotürk TV's Melis ile iyi yaşam with Barış Ekici, and interviews with BT Haber, Magg4 magazine, and Posta gazetesi in 2020. Auto Train Brain was also a finalist for the Dr Club Best Social Entrepreneur award in 2020 and featured in a Cryptowomen Turkey interview that same year. Dr. Günet Eroğlu has also done Instagram live streams from 2020 to 2022 and worked with Işık University students on the UI/UX renewal of Auto Train Brain, as featured in Posta in 2021. She also appeared on Business Channel Türk TV's "Dr. Günet Eroğlu ile Beyin Gücü" in 2021-2022 and was a speaker at Yeditepe University's BİOMATE Event in 2022. Finally, she worked with Acıbadem Kuluçka Merkezi and Acıbadem TEKMER from 2020 to 2022.

AutoTrainBrain continues to grow as a very important project financed by Sabancı University, INOVENT A.Ş., TÜBİTAK 1512, TÜBİTAK 1507, TÜBİTAK 3501, DCP, and KOSGEB.

2020-2022 Işık Üniversitesi[edit]

From August 2020 to September 2022, Dr. Günet Eroğlu taught courses in the Computer and Software Engineering Departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Istanbul Işık University as a senior university faculty member with a Ph.D. He taught courses in Android programming, Introduction to Software Engineering, Algorithm Analysis, Data Structures, Databases, Fundamentals of Programming in Java, Programming Languages, Operating Systems, and Machine Learning.

During this period, she published a book called "A Popular Look at Brain Science" by İkinciadam Publishing House in 2021. She also successfully completed the TÜBİTAK 1512 BİGG and TÜBİTAK 1507 projects.

2022- ... Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi  [edit]

Since 2022, Dr. Günet Eroğlu has been teaching courses in Algorithm Analysis, Android Java Programming, and Formal Languages and Automata Theory as a senior faculty member with a Ph.D. at Bahçeşehir University. She also has an ongoing TÜBİTAK 3501 project there. During his time at Bahçeşehir University, she published a book called "Functional Connectivity and Information Created by the Brain and Artificial Intelligence" by Ekin Publishing House.

Hobbies[edit]

Dr. Günet Eroğlu's personal development has been supported by both her master's degree education abroad and his doctoral education. Through this comprehensive education, she has achieved fluency in English at a native level.

Looking at her developed projects, it is clear that one of Dr. Günet Eroğlu's most important hobbies is charity work and educating dyslexic children. All of the projects she has developed to improve the lives of dyslexic children are also considered his hobby. Dr. Günet Eroğlu, who combines her hobby with education, has produced very special projects that carry social responsibility.

In addition to her interest in charity work and education, Dr. Günet Eroğlu is also greatly interested in photography and design.
