Gunfire Reborn
Gunfire Reborn is an adventure level-based dungeon-crawling game developed by Duoyi Interactive.Featured with FPS, Roguelite and RPG, players can play as unique heroes---each with different abilities---as they adventure through random-generated levels and pick up Chinese-myths inspired weapons.Players can play either solo or up to 4-player co-op.It was released in early access for Microsoft Windows at May 22nd,2020 and is set to fully release later this year.[1][2][3]
Gameplay[edit]
Gunfire Reborn features Roguelite-FPS gameplay with RPG mechanic similar to Risk of Rain 2 and Borderlands 3, in which one to four players must clear randomly generated levels filled with various enemies and collect skill points, currency, ascensions and occult scrolls. Every playthrough is unique thanks to Roguelite elements, and players would encounter unique combat, weapons and items along the way.Upon dying, player will have hard-earned skill points to permanently upgrade their characters that will allow them push even further and faster in next attempt.[1]
Hero[edit]
There're currently two heroes(playable characters) in-game.Both of them have distinct background and powerful skills.[4]

| Crown Prince | A mysterious visitor from Spirit Realm who is proficient in alchemy and the elemental arts. With his alchemist expertise, the Crown Prince is able to trap and freeze the movement of his enemies with the Enerby Orb. His hidden background has made him even closer to the elements. He combines various elements skillfully to create extraordinary effects. |
| Ao Bai | A master of explosions and firearms. Ao Bai's expertise with firearms allows him to control two weapons at the same time. Also, due to his passion for explosions, he has always been able to make powerful explosives. |
Weapon[edit]
The weapons in the game can be categorized into 7 groups---rifle, submachine gun, pistol, shotgun, sniper, launcher and Injector.[5]
To further make every weapon unique, all dropped weapons would come with random inscriptions that can improve the performance.
Up until now there're 36 weapon in total with more to come in the future.

Occult Scroll[edit]
Occult Scrolls are random loots that can be acquired during the stages.There are several ways to get occult scrolls:[6]
- Clearing a vault(hidden stage) and choosing one from the treasure chest
- Buying it from a peddler
- Buying/trading or sacrificing health at occasionally-seen red chest
- Every Boss and Elite killed will guarantee at least one occult scroll
- Completing an achievement/challenge will guarantee one occult scroll
Every occult scroll will have permanent effect on the player as long as equipped.Some of them can be dropped in order to fit the situation.
