Gunner Stockton

Gunner Stockton is an American football quarterback for the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.[1]

High school career

Stockton started for his varsity team for all of his four years in high school. He has thrown 175 touchdowns which broke the previous state record held by Trevor Lawrence.[2] He also broke his state record for most total touchdowns (throwing and rushing) with 251 which was previously held by Deshaun Watson.[3] He was committed to South Carolina but he decommitted and flipped to Georgia.[4]

Recruiting

Gunner has been listed as a four star recruit by ESPN[5] and 247 Sports[6] while being listed as a five star by Rivals.com.[7] Gunner committed to South Carolina in August, 2020 and decommitted in January, 2021. Later that month on January 28 Stockton committed to Georgia.
