Life / Tennis Career[edit]

Dmytro Gurichev, born September, 15th in Simferopol, Ukraine. Started his tennis career in 1989 (5 years old). Became Master of sports of Ukraine in 1997. In 1998 Dmytro Gurichev won in singles and doubles at Tennis Europe Chernitskaya Memorial. Won Ukraine Championships for 5 times in each age category (under 12, 14, 16, 18 and the Men’s one). Dmytro has 3 ATP points in singles and 9 in doubles.

He started playing tennis at the age of five.

Coaching History[edit]

Started coaching with Ukrainian Tennis Federation (UTF) in 2009. Was captain of national junior team of Ukraine in European Championships in 2009[1] ( European and World Championships), 2011 and 2014[2][3][4] ( European Championships).

In 2010 Dmytro Gurichev got the title of first category Ukrainian tennis coach and was fully certified by ITF: Biomechanics, and Level 1, 2, 3. Since 2009 works as a head coach in Tennis Academy "Grafit", Simferopol, Ukraine.

  • Juliya Lysa[5] (the Candidate of Master of Sports of Ukraine, won European championship in 2008[6][7], second place on European championship in 2009[8][9], best result ITF U18 #67, ranking WTA #464[10], graduated from Arkansas University, division 1 tennis player, US, reached top 20 in singles in ITA rankings[11])
  • Anna Dollar[12] (the Candidate of Master of Sports of Ukraine, won Ukrainian National mixed U16[13], won TE tournaments, got to the top 300 in Tennis Europe[14] and 310 in ITF[15], studying at Liberty University, division 1 tennis player, US[16])
  • Yurii Naidin[17] (won Ukrainian Masters U12, was qualified for the Ukrainian national team in 2014 to 2016)[18]
  • Vika Lushkova[19] (won Ukrainian championship U12)
  • Ekaterina Vorobeva entered the Savannah State University division 1 women’s tennis team, US after 2 years training[20]
