Gus M. Hile

Gus M. Hile (b. 1996) is an Australian film director. He graduated from Sydney Church of England Grammar School on Sydney's North Shore in 2014 before studying film directing at EICAR in Paris. Hile then worked in former Yugoslavian countries, living primarily in Sarajevo, where he became well known as a producer of local short films before returning to Australia in late 2019. He directed his first feature film in 2019 called Kondor which was produced in Bosnia. His second feature was shot in his home city of Sydney in 2021, a noir film called Dirty Mirrors. His third feature is titled Kill the Junkie and is set to begin shooting in late 2022. Hile operates a production company called Mahala Films.
