Guychgeldi Myratovich Baygeldiyev (Turkmen: Guýçgeldi Myratowyç Baýgeldiyew, Russian: Байгельди Мурадович Байгелдиев) is a Turkmen geological engineer and politician, currently serving as chairman of the Turkmenoil state concern, to which position he was appointed in February 2020.[1][2]
Baygeldiyev was graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnical Institute in 1998 as a geological engineer. He worked as a geological engineer in the Central Engineering-Technical Service of the Korpeje directorate of drilling of Turkmenoil from 1999 to 2009. He was acting deputy director of this directorate from 2009 to 2011, and acting director of one of the regions of that directorate from 2011 to 2012. In 2015 he was promoted to chief engineer of the Korpeje directorate of drilling, and was acting director of it from 2016 to 2017.[3] in 2017, Baygeldiyev was appointed deputy chairman of Turkmenoil.[3][4]
