Guyviaud Joseph (born October 20, 1983) is an American actor. He is best known for his role of Tony in the BET+ comedy-drama television series Zatima (2022–present).[1].
Early life
Guyviaud Joseph was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, on October 20, 1983, the son of Haitian immigrants[2]. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing degree in 2006[2].
Career
Joseph briefly worked as an account executive for CBS, but he quit that job to focus on his acting skills. In 2011, he made his acting debut as Clayton in the short film Turn for the Worst. He has made guest appearances in television shows including Gotham, Blue Bloods, Bull and Harlem. He provided the voice and motion-capture of Hercule in the PlayStation 4 video game Red Dead Redemption 2.
In 2022, he was cast as Tony in the BET+ comedy-drama television series Zatima, starring Devale Ellis and Crystal Renee Hayslett, and created by Tyler Perry[3][4]
Personal life
Joseph met his girlfriend Ife Henderson, and they married in Grenada, on March 29, 2025.[1]. Prior to their wedding, they welcomed a baby daughter, Zoe, in April 2024[1].
