Gwalvanshi Ahir

Gwalvanshi Ahir or Gwal Ahir is a khap of Ahirs (Abhiras)[1] in Uttar Pradesh.[2] They in turn are divided into various got (clans) and lineages.[3] Some of their gots (gotras) are: Behota (Bechota), Banarasiya, Barhadagia, Bhoj, Chautaha, Chauania (Chahania), Dumar, Kasi, Mongar, Nagar, Puhoa, Sahbar, Sanuar etc.[4][5][6][7]
