Gwen Alford (also known as Gwen Alford-Pean) is a Nigerian woman living in North America.[1] She is an author and poet whose works focus on diverse themes such as: a personal quest for religious experience; home and identity; race and motherhood; and activism.[2][not in citation given] Journey Inside: A Collection of Poems is her first[3]
