Gye-Jun Ryu (also known as Yoo Gye-Jun)[1][2][3] was a Korean religious leader, nationalist activist, and martyr in Korea's independence movement.[2][4]

Gye-Jun Ryu, Cho Man-sik, Kim Dong-won, and Yun-seon Oh, are cited as the pillars of the Sanjunghyun Church in Pyongyang,[5] [6][7]noted as the birthplace of the Presbyterian Church of Korea .[1][8][9] Ryu is believed to have been executed in the early days of the Korean War.

The Chosun Ilbo newspaper reported on May 29, 1995 (10th edition no. 23041) that Gye-Jun Ryu had 106 descendants.
