Gymkhana Football Club is a semi-professional football team based in Singapore. Founded in 2002, the club is affiliated with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS).[1]
History
Gymkhana FC won the National Football League Division 2 title in 2017, earning promotion to Division 1.[2]
In October 2018, the club faced controversy when a player allegedly assaulted a referee during a match against Katong FC. The player received a lifetime ban from FAS.[3] Subsequently, Gymkhana was expelled from the NFL in December 2018 for failing to field a full team on multiple occasions.[4]
The club returned in 2019 to compete in the Island Wide League (IWL), finishing fourth that season.[5]
In 2025, Gymkhana FC claimed its first-ever IWL championship after defeating Tanah Merah United 3–2 in the final.[6] Both finalists earned promotion to the 2026 Singapore Football League Division 2.[7]
