Héctor Anguita Anguita (7 April 1857 – 30 May 1946) was a Chilean farmer and politician who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile.
Born in Los Ángeles, he was the son of Rafael Anguita Arriagada and Carmen Anguita Toledo. He studied at the Liceo de Los Ángeles and the Colegio Inglés de Valparaíso. He later dedicated himself to agriculture in the provinces of Bío-Bío and Cautín, operating the Los Cipreses and La Mañana estates and introducing modern agricultural methods to the area.[1]
Anguita was president of the Agrarian Party before joining the Radical Party, serving as president of its assembly in Nueva Imperial. He also served as a municipal councillor in Los Ángeles and Freire. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for Temuco, Imperial and Llaima for the 1912–1915 term and was reelected for the 1915–1918 term. During both terms, he served on the Permanent Commission of Public Works.
