The HENN Industrial Group GmbH, based in Dornbirn (Austria), is an Austrian provider of coupling systems for industrial applications. In addition to HENN GmbH & Co KG, the HENN Industrial Group (HENN IG) also includes EISELE GmbH, TKW Molding GmbH, UFT Produktion GmbH and subsidiaries in the USA and China.
History
In 2011, Martin Ohneberg took over HENN GmbH & Co KG as the majority owner and became managing director. In 2018, the HENN Industrial Group took over UFT Produktion GmbH (metal deep drawing company) and TKW Molding GmbH (plastic injection molders).:[1] EISELE was taken over at the beginning of 2021.[2] While HENN offers couplings in the medium diameter and low pressure range, EISELE products with their smaller diameters can be found in a medium pressure range and thus complement the HENN IG range in terms of both properties and applications.
The group's turnover grew from 17 million euros (2010) to 120 million euros (2020).[3][4][5][6]
The group of companies deals with different materials (plastic, metal) and manufacturing technologies (deep drawing, injection molding, machining (CNC) and additive manufacturing). Henn is a sponsor of the Austrian tennis Bundesliga („HENN Bundesliga“).[7][8]
Structure of HENN Industrial Group
HENN
HENN GmbH & Co KG, based in Dornbirn (Austria), is a leading supplier of quick couplings for charge air and cooling water systems and resonators.[9] HENN was founded in 1990 and in the first few years focused on the automotive industry with the development of ShortClip. In 1996 it was first used in series production at the car manufacturer Audi, followed by Porsche and Mercedes in 1998. There are now more than 500 million HENN couplings in use worldwide. The company also sells assembly machines that work with a specially developed pressing method.[10]
The company's product range essentially includes:

The products, which can be tracked 100 percent digitally by means of a data matrix code, are used by almost all automobile manufacturers worldwide and are suitable for combustion engines as well as for electric, hybrid and fuel cell vehicles.[11]
EISELE
EISELE GmbH, headquartered in Waiblingen (Germany), develops, produces and sells solid metal connectors. The connections from EISELE are used, among other things, in robotics, food production, medical technology, the packaging industry, the pharmaceutical industry and in the field of renewable energies.[12] The company was founded in 1939 and is now represented in 22 countries with more than 100 employees.[13] It has been part of the HENN Group together with its subsidiary in Grand Rapids, Michigan (USA) since 2021.[14]

TKW molding
TWK Molding GmbH is headquartered in Blankenhain (Germany) and employs around 120 people[16]. TKW produces plastic and automotive components and is a know-how carrier in the plastics sector within the HENN IG. The company has been part of the HENN Industrial Group since 2018 and has a subsidiary in Taicang (China).

UFT Produktion GmbH (based in Heinsdorfergrund, Germany) produces complex precision deep-drawn parts made of sheet metal, stainless steel, aluminum, pre-coated sheet metal and non-ferrous metals. UFT is a global company with around 120 employees.[19] Among other things, the HENN HC.Water coupling is produced and assembled in a new assembly hall at the Heinsdorfergrund site.
