Omen (stylised as OMEN) is a brand name of gaming computers and other gaming accessories (monitors, gaming chairs, etc.) launched in May 2016[2] by HP Inc. It replaced the now-retired VoodooPC brand[3] of high-performance computers and used the same logo until 2020.
The latest computer in the Omen series is currently the Omen 17, released in 2023 and priced at $1,699.99, specced with an Intel Raptor Lake 13-generation processor, a GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, a large amount of ports, customizable RGB lighting effects with GeForce built in, etc.[4]
History
As VoodooDNA (until 2013)
Before Voodoo’s demise in 2013, Omen was represented by VoodooDNA, their former brand of gaming PCs. The last gaming PC sold under the VoodooDNA brand was the HP Blackbird 002, until HP started redeveloping the Voodoo brand into Omen.
As Omen (2013-2016)
HP dropped the Omen
