The HSMM Group of Companies is a conglomerate headed by Mr. Habib Mohammed Chowdhury and headquartered in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR.[3] The main focus of businesses are Agarwood oil extraction facilities, Agarwood plantations, Information Technology, Perfume and Fragrances, Mining, and Agarwood trading.[4][5]

Lao Agar International Development Co. Ltd.,
Lao Agar International Development Co. Ltd. (L.A.I.D) signed MOU with Government of Lao PDR in 1998. The factory was established and started operations in 1999. L.A.I.D is located in Dongkhamxang Road, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. L.A.I.D works jointly with STRI (Science and Technology Research Institute of Lao PDR) in developing new technologies, establishing new Agarwood plantations and promoting clean environmental practices.[6][7]
HSMM Mining Co. Ltd.,
The HSMM Mining Company Limited is engaged in exploration, mapping, and surveying of iron ore and other precious metals in Lao P.D.R, one of the most resource-rich countries in Asia. Some of the 570 minerals identified so far include gold, copper, zinc, and lead.[8] [9]

HSMM FOUNDATION – LAO PDR
The HSMM Group also seeks to extend its NGO operations in the Lao PDR by promoting livelihood empowerment and sponsoring programs to help Lao people, concentrating especially on housing programs for veterans and improving education, health, and hygiene.[10]
JF FOUNDATION – ASSAM, INDIA
HSMM’s group has setup the JF Foundation (A Non-Religious Foundation) in India and HSMM Foundation in Laos for helping the people of that country. His foundation has organized and supported various Charitable Events in the country for children education programs, flood relief, empowering farmers, and helping other foundations.[5]
