Hadiya Hashmi
'Hadiya Hashmi' Hadiya Hashmi (Urdu ہادیہ ہاشمی) is a young female Pakistani singer who got fame in her first appearance in Nescafe Basement Season 5 song “Bol Hu” which was published on YouTube on February 1, 2019. Being an eight years old kid, she inspired huge number of music lovers through her God-Gifted ability of singing amazingly high notes while being equally good at low notes. After “Bol Hu” video was published at YouTube, it got viral across many countries of the world especially in Pakistan and India. YouTubers across the globe made Reaction Videos on “Bol Hu” song in which Hadiya Hashmi was featured with a well known musical band “Soch”. Since then, Hadiya has been invited in many TV shows in Pakistan and every music lover in Pakistan is eager to know more and more about her.
Family Life Hadiya’s family lives in Lahore and her father is working as tailor with Mayo Hospital Lahore. Hadiya has five sisters and one brother and Hadiya is the youngest child among her sisters. Hadiya is student of 5th class in a local school and she is the only member of her family who is doing music and has great passion for it.
Music Carrier Hadiya has been gifted with great voice by birth. In her school, she has been participating in Naats (praise of the Holy Prophet PBUH) and national songs competitions. In an interview for TV, Hadiya revealed that she explored her talent herself and showed her intention to her teacher to participate in national songs competition held at her school. After her first performance at her school, she surprised her teachers with her talent and since then she has participated in many events on behalf of her school as well as personally. Hadiya expressed in a TV interview that at the age of 6 ½ years she told her father that she intends to learn music formally. Realizing Hadiya’s talent and her passion for music her father took her to a local music teacher named Zia-ul-Haq who runs a music academy in the name of “Sur Tall Academy”. Zia quickly identify the God-Gifted talent of Hadiya and started training her. Zia had set a goal to achieve Nescafe Basement season 5 so he worked hard and finally nine students of his academy performed in Nescafe Basement season 5. Hadiya was one of them and the song “Bol Hu” in which she was featured was first song of the season 5.
Hadiya is getting formal training in classical music and she practices it in “Sur Taal Academy” three hours a day. She has been gifted with amazingly melodious voice and her voice range surprises many. She has capability to sing most difficult songs of Pakistani famous singers in their style. After her appearance in “Bol Hu” she has been admired greatly for her voice range, passion, control, involvement and expressions. Talking about her passion, her teacher Zia told that she never gets tired no matter how long the practice session goes. Hadiya told that she is a big fan of legendary Pakistani singer Madam Noor Jehan and she started singing after listening to her national songs.
Future Plans Hadiya has great passion for music and wants to carry on her professional carrier as a singer. She is also keen to continue her studies and wants to become a medical doctor.
