Hadiyo Jim'ale

Hadiyo Jim'ale (Somali: Xadiyo Jimcaale, also spelled Hadio) (born May 1, 1971) is a Somali feminist, author and activist.

Jim'ale is best known for being the Executive Director of Qajacyada Soomaaliyeed (Queer Somalis), an NGO working on behalf of LGBT Somalis.[1] She frequently writes reviews for Huriyah, the LGBT Muslim magazine.[2] Salaam Press announced it would publish Jim'ale first novel Lovers in 2009.
