Haider Ali khan kharal (1971-), son of ex-minister Khalid Ahmed Khan Kharal is a politician . He belongs to the Kharal tribe based in Kamalia . Haider currently lives in Lahore. He is married and has three kids .Mr Kharal is a political and influential figure in Kamalia.

Kamalia town was founded by and named after Kharal chief, Khan Kamal Khan Kharal, in the 14th Century and was, historically, known as "Kot Kamalia". During the Indian Rebellion of 1857, it was one of the sites of an uprising by the local people, who held it for a week. In 1901, Kamalia had a population of 6,976. Kamalia was historically part of the erstwhile district and tehsil of Montgomery (Sahiwal), Punjab.

Haider spent most of his childhood in Abu Dhabi where his father was an advisor to the Sheikh. He has now carried on his fathers legacy and is working to fix Kamalia as an MNA.He was a close friend to Benazir Bhutto but left PPP after her unfortunate death.In January of 2017, he thought of joining Asif Zardari but then changed sides and tried to join Imran Khan.
