Hairhouse

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Brothers Marcus Fakhri and Tony Lattouf[1] opened the first Hairhouse Warehouse in Knox City, Victoria, in 1992[2] as a hair salon that stocked thousands of competitively priced haircare brands. A first in the industry, the 'salon-meets-store' concept gained the 'warehouse' name due to the endless stock boxes onsite.

Within a decade, there were 20 Hairhouse Warehouse stores across Australia. In 2004 and 2010, Hairhouse Warehouse was named Australia's Fastest Growing Franchise in Business Review Weekly.

In 2019, Hairhouse Warehouse underwent a re-brand[3], dropping the 'warehouse' name and further evolving with the relaunch of www.hairhouse.com.au in 2020. This combined shift has seen the Hairhouse brand re-energized, solidifying it as a leading, reputable stockist of locally and internationally renowned hair care and hair styling products. These include luxury brands such as ghd, Halo, MUK, Matrix, NAK Hair, De Lorenzo, Biolage, Joico, and Kevin Murphy.

Within the salon, Hairhouse hair and piercing services remain the country's most popular, and today, Hairhouse remains the largest employer of hairdressers in Australia with over 100 stores.[4]
