Campus
There are 4 major buildings on Haldane's campus, and 3 are utilized for education. The Haldane High School building was built in the early 2000s.
Building Issues
Haldane's 4 buildings have been built over a span of 80 years and have been noted to require significant investment in the facilities.
Lead Testing
In May 2023, Haldane Central School District reported lead testing results for sink water in their buildings. The results showed a large concentration of lead in the water.[4]
Campus Master Plan
The Board of Education commissioned CSArch in 2022 to present construction projects that upgrade current facilities and address spatial concerns such as the lack of a high school cafeteria, the need for more athletic facilities, and the lack of a dedicated auditorium.[5] The proposed changes would increase property taxes by 10% and are being voted on by the people of Cold Spring.
