Haley Stevens is an American politician from the state of Michigan. She is the Democratic Party nominee for the United States House of Representatives for Michigan's 11th congressional district in the 2018 elections.

Biography[edit]

Stevens grew up in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She graduated from Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Michigan, and American University. She worked for the Michigan Democratic Party as a volunteer organizer in 2006, and worked on the Clinton and Obama presidential campaigns in 2008. In 2009, Steven Rattner hired her to join the Presidential Task Force on the Auto Industry, and she served as his chief of staff.[1] She then went to work for Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute in Chicago, returning to Michigan in 2017.[2]

In the 2018 elections, Stevens is running for the United States House of Representatives in Michigan's 11th congressional district, seeking to succeed David Trott.[2] Stevens defeated Tim Greimel in the Democratic Party primary election, and will face Republican Lena Epstein in the general election.[3]
