Hamamly (حٰماملی; Azerbaijani Turkic: Hamamlı; Farsi: حماملو) is a village in Üzümdil, in the Central District of Varzaqan County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 135, in 35 families.[1]
Etymology
The name "Hamamly" in Turkic means "with a bathhouse," "belonging to a bathhouse," or "related to a bathhouse." The word is derived by adding the suffix "-ly," which forms nouns from nouns, to the word "hamam" (bathhouse).
