Hamdi Zurqani
Hamdi Abdalkhaliq Zurqani (Arabic: حمدي عبدالخالق الزرقاني) (born 07 December 1981, Tripoli, Libya) is an Assistant Professor of Geospatial Science in Natural Resource Management and Conservation at the University of Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, Arkansas Forest Resources Center, University of Arkansas at Monticello, Monticello, AR, United States.[1]
Education and career
Dr. Zurqani obtained his master of agricultural sciences in 2010 from the Department of Soil and Water Sciences: soil survey genesis and classification, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tripoli. Tripoli, Libya, and received his Ph.D. in 2019 from Clemson University, United States. His thesis title was Application of Geospatial Technologies for Land Use Analysis and Soil Science Education.[2] His research focuses on the development of applications for new technologies in the field of soil survey and classification.[1] He also edited two books with Springer Nature (i.e., "The Soils of Libya"[3], and "Environmental Applications of Remote Sensing and GIS in Libya"[4])
