Hami Aksoy

Hami Aksoy (born 1 April 1969 in Ankara in Turkey) is a Turkish Diplomat and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Turkey).[1][2][3][4][5]

Biography

Aksoy graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International relations, and completed his master's degree at the University of Kent at Canterbury.[6]

Aksoy worked as a research assistant at Ankara University Institute of Social Sciences between 1992 and 1998.[7]

Hami Aksoy joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998 and served as the Head of Department at Treaties Deputy General Manager in 2012. [8]

In 2012, he began working at the Turkish Consulate General of Milan. On October 1, 2015, he started working there.[9]

Since January 15, 2018, he has served as a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[10]

He is married, has two children, and speaks English.[11]
