There are four named waterfalls on the Hamma Hamma River: the Hamma Hamma Falls, the Middle Hamma Hamma Falls, the Lower Hamma Hamma Falls, and the Eldon Falls. In addition to this, there is an unnamed waterfall on the river.

Hamma Hamma Falls

The Hamma Hamma Falls is the largest waterfall on the Hamma Hamma River. The waterfall is directly under a concrete bridge. The drops are 18 feet (5.5 m) and 66 feet (20 m). This waterfall is a very large tourist attraction.

Middle Hamma Hamma Falls

The Middle Hamma Hamma Falls is the smallest waterfall on the Hamma Hamma River. The Middle Hamma Hamma Falls is the unofficial name of the waterfall; there is no official name for it. Its only drop is 19 ft (5.8 m). Its drop splits the river in two where they meet back up again after going through parallel chutes.

Lower Hamma Hamma Falls

The Lower Hamma Hamma Falls is not the lowest waterfall on the Hamma Hamma River. In addition to this, The Lower Hamma Hamma Falls is the unofficial name of the waterfall; there is no official name for it. This waterfall's status as a waterfall is debatable. The river goes through several massive boulders at a narrow point in the river. This creates a multi-segmented cascade which drops 37 feet in short order.

This unnamed waterfall has 2 drops, 35 ft (11 m) and 15 ft (4.6 m).

Eldon Falls

3 1/2 miles from the mouth of the Hamma Hamma River, you find Eldon Falls, a small waterfall. This waterfall is not available to the public. These waterfalls are held in a narrow canyon. There are two back-to-back drops of 19 feet (5.8 m) and 14 feet (4.3 m) which go into a narrow box canyon which is 20 ft wide at most places. There are potholes near the top of the falls due to the river sculpting bedrock.

In the early 1980s, the thought of a hydroelectric plant was proposed for the Hamma Hamma River. It would've been just upstream from this waterfall. Although the project never got approved, there are still relics of potential development of the area on an access road if the plant would've been approved.
